ABOUT ME
I grew up in Yorkshire but moved to London in my twenties and love it. I have spent most of my working career in Human Resources but in my thirties I decided to follow my interest in personal growth and trained as a psychotherapist.

I did a four-year course at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) where I attained my post-graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am now a registered member (MBACP) of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

During my therapy training I also trained with The EFT Centre and am a qualified Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) practitioner, accredited and certified with EFT International.
HOW I WORK
I’m a transpersonal, integrative psychotherapist. Transpersonal means I look at the whole of you and integrative means I’m able to draw on many different therapeutic approaches in our work together. However, I’m also drawing from my own experience of some of the issues mentioned above. I’m not just relying on theory.

My main focus is to be present with you, listen and talk things through and that’s what we’ll spend most of our sessions doing. However, if you’re open to it, and it’s appropriate for you, there are a number of tools I might use. One example is working with your dreams.

I'm also a qualified EFT practitioner and can bring EFT into the work if you would like. EFT involves tapping on the face and upper body and can reduce anxiety and negative emotions and help in many other ways.

In terms of me as a person, I’m warm and personable and will help you feel welcome.
